Summer 2003
Nathaniel spent the summer working with students from the Gila Crossing Community School. With Nathaniel's assistance, the children created this sculpture, which they titled, "Saguarro".

The teacher explains: "These pictures show the final step of painting the sculpture. It is made of steel and stands about 16 feet tall. This is hopefully the beginning of an art park for the kids. The kids learned a little about drawing and how to take there sketches and make them into reality, learning to bend and weld steel."
